UNC joins the SAP University Alliances program and seeks to strengthen the digital skills of its students at one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Latin America.
The National University of Córdoba (UNC) and SAP signed a collaboration agreement to boost technological training at the university’s North Campus, promoting the incorporation of business management content and tools into the curricula of various programs.
With more than 400 years of history, the UNC has established itself as an academic and scientific benchmark in Latin America. The signing of this agreement represents a new step in its commitment to educational innovation and engagement with the productive sector. Through this alliance, the university will be part of the SAP University Alliances program, which connects educational institutions around the world with world-class tools in business technologies.
Representing the UNC, Juan Marcelo Conrero, Vice-Rector of Territorial Development and Head of the North Campus at the National University of Córdoba, participated in the event; Carolina Moreno, Academic Director of the North Campus; Macarena Ziade, Director of Territorial Outreach at the North Campus; and Tomás Sánchez Soria, Campus Coordinator at the North Campus.
Representing SAP were Fernanda Pérez, general manager of SAP Argentina, and María José Compte, partner manager for SAP’s Multi-Country Latin America and the Caribbean (MCLAC) region and leader of the SAP University Alliance, among other company officials.
“The agreement with UNC fills us with pride. We are convinced that collaboration with leading institutions like this one is key to developing the talent that the digital future demands throughout Latin America,” said Fernanda Pérez, general manager of SAP Argentina. “We want more and more students to have access to tools that enhance their employability and prepare them to lead the transformation of organizations in Argentina and the region,” she added.
Through the SAP University Alliances program, UNC will have access to academic content, software tools, teacher training, and participation in international events. It also offers students the opportunity to connect with the global SAP ecosystem, including innovation labs, learning communities, and co-innovation networks. “University education must be aligned with the demands of today’s world. This partnership with SAP allows our students to acquire applicable knowledge, experience the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence for business, and connect with real-life companies and challenges,” said Juan Marcelo Conrero.
The initiative is part of SAP’s strategy to strengthen digital education and youth employability in Latin America, promoting integration between academia and industry. In Argentina, more than 20 public and private universities are already part of the SAP University Alliances ecosystem.
